Healing insights for the 31st Gene Key Gift of Leadership

As I’ve been developing and bringing the Gene Keys Quest project to life, I’ve found myself increasingly called beyond my comfort zone, into a role of influence that inherently involves the potential for deep discomfort.

Yet it is through facing these fears that we catalyse a process of inner stability that hones our heartfelt conviction.

I use the word ‘influence’ here specifically, as it is the key word that represents the Gift of the 31st Gene Key, Leadership.

Whether or not you’re familiar with the 31st Gene Key, I invite you to reflect on where life might be calling you to step into a position of influence, whether in your family, work, or social circles. You may even recall moments in your past when you were stretched to advocate for a new path or perspective.

The 31st Shadow, Arrogance, uses language to manipulate or seek recognition.

In contrast, the Gift of Leadership is about using words to inspire, uplift, and guide others toward positive change. Leadership, in this context, is not about controlling or directing others but about encouraging and inspiring progress for the greater good.

Personally, much of my life has been shaped by the repressive side of Arrogance, referred to as 'Deferring'.

I’ve often let others lead, playing small to avoid appearing arrogant.

There's still a part of me, tied to my 6th Line nature, that prefers to remain out of the spotlight, watching from the metaphorical roof until I feel ready to be seen and heard.

But I’ve come to realise that denying our destiny also denies the expression of our potential.

With the 31st Gene Key as my IQ, I recognise my heart-mind intelligence will blossom through this Gift of influence - whether through writing, speaking, or other creative outlets.

Yet, bringing something soulful into the world comes with both blessings and challenges. Some will resonate with us, while others may judge or criticise.

That’s all part of the journey.

One of the most healing contemplations for me has been Richard Rudd’s insights into the 31st Gene Key.

Here are a few quotes from his transmission that have deeply resonated with me and sparked a deep healing wave of self-love within my heart:

“Courage is another quality of leadership, not the courage to run headlong into an enemy or do something externally impressive, but the inner courage to stay absolutely centred in our own truth, in the truth of our heart, even when others may not understand and may project all kinds of things onto us. It’s about standing firm in our self-love.”

“Leadership requires we stick our head out way above the parapet and face the stuff others throw at us. We trust in our own inherent virtue.”

“…and the new always meets resistance. It isn’t always recognised in its own time.”

Richard Rudd, The 64 Ways

The key takeaway for me is this: if we feel a deep inner calling, we must trust in the purity of our hearts, even if it takes us into uncomfortable terrain.

Sometimes the voice of Humility has to be bold and even appear arrogant in order to be a pure vessel for the truth of higher consciousness to speak through.

As Richard says, we must trust in our own inherent virtue.

Wishing you courage and blessings on your journey.
